We are looking for a University Relations Manager to support the business in a variety of UR strategies to promote the company image to candidates as a brand ambassador through social media channels. In this role, YOU will also help manage our stunning Summer Intern Program and manage University Relationships for Samsung Research America (SRA).

  • Build UR strategy
  • Provide school diversity demographics
  • Provide recommendations for best university/student organizations to engage
  • Integrate diversity conference strategy for assigned business units
  • Integrate diversity strategy into overall picture
  • Partner with BU leaders in building campus strategy by providing a list of recruitment events along with recommendations (info sessions, career fairs, networking events)

Partner with BU to expand school relationships (professors, teaching opportunities, etc.)

Main Point-of-contact

  • Own entire university recruitment process end-to-end, including all logistics
  • Maintain regular touch point meetings with BU (and other stakeholders as needed)Process expert and advisor for all hiring activities (interviews, offers, compliance)
  • Understand immigration process and timelines
  • Advise hiring leaders on items related to relocation and intern housing
  • Understand onboarding process and timelines
  • Partner internally to ensure demand plan fulfillment
  • Drive campus event prep calls and debrief sessions
  • Provide annual post-mortem to internal stakeholders
  • Act as main point of contact for all offer challenges

University Relationship Management

  • Own UR relationship for assigned schools
  • Execute overall SRA strategy for assigned schools
  • Partner with staff/facility to identify, plan and execute branding/recruitment events (virtual and face-to-face)
  • Ensure SRA has access and exposure to top diverse talent by building relationships with appropriate student orgs

Event Management

  • Partner with coordinators on execution of all events for assigned BU
  • Create and deliver post-mortem for each event, identify what to start/stop/continue
  • Partner with brand social media/brand leads to create campaigns/content for social media, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
  • Content ambassador for social media while at events
  • Post pictures, content, updates real-time during events
  • Travel to or assign a TA representative to travel to campus/diversity events (leveraging local teams when possible)

Internship Program

  • Organize, attending and engaging in summer activities
  • Collect end of summer performance reviews and ensures interns receive individual feedback
  • Partner with hiring leaders and TA team to execute intern to fulltime offers

Budget Management

  • Manage and track budget for BU events and T&E
  • Manage budget allocation between assigned schools

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Strong organizational abilities and project management competencies
  • Process orientation, good interviewing skills, good knowledge of industry and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage key relationships to achieve results
  • Ability to drive for results, put the customer first, has intellectual capacity
